The unwanted moss dies and turns black, then can be easily raked out or removed during scarification.

Application:

The fertilizer can be applied by hand or with a spreader, then the lawn should be thoroughly watered. 1 heaped tablespoon of iron fertilizer weighs approx. 18 g, 1 handful approx. 50 g. After application, the moss will turn brown or black and should be raked out. The amount to be applied can also be dissolved in water (e.g. 100 g for 5 m² lawn in 5 l water) and then evenly distributed. Application a few days after mowing at temperatures above 10°C supports the effect. For heavily used areas, additional fertilization can be done after 8 to 10 weeks.

In case of iron deficiency in garden plants, such as leaf yellowing and yellowing of young shoots, dissolve 20 g/m² iron fertilizer in watering water and distribute evenly.

Iron fertilizer is not a complete fertilizer! Your lawn needs a complete fertilizer with nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium for healthy growth. We recommend our organic-mineral lawn fertilizer.

Caution! Iron fertilizer causes rust stains on floor coverings (concrete slabs, tiles, etc.) and clothing. Immediately remove fertilizer accidentally dropped on slabs. Also pay attention to residues on shoe soles and pet paws. Only walk on fertilized lawn when the fertilizer is well watered.
