Info: Annual, height approx. 10 cm. Prolific flowering summer flower with large double blooms in many bright colors in sunlight. Ideal for edgings, rock gardens, dry stone walls, and containers. The coarse, fleshy leaves are largely avoided by snails. Drought tolerant.
Care: Sow in sandy soil, do not cover (light germinator!), press lightly and keep moist under glass or foil until emergence. Continue to cultivate in cool and dry conditions. Transplant or thin out with a spacing of 15x20 cm in May - June. Prefers a location in full sun and well-drained, even poor soil.
Tip: Direct sowing of 3 - 5 seeds per pot saves pricking out. One of the few plants for dry, poor locations. Do not fertilize.
