Info: Annual, height approx. 20 cm. Valuable cushion plant with many small, violet flowers that emit a sweet fragrance, especially in the evening. Bee pasture. Suitable as ground cover, for borders, rock gardens, stone joints, and balcony boxes. Largely avoided by snails.
Care: Sow in well-drained soil (row spacing 20 cm), press lightly, do not cover (light germinator!), and keep moist. After germination, cultivate cooler and drier. After 4 weeks, prick out several into pots and plant out or thin out with a spacing of 10 cm in May - June. Undemanding, loves sunny locations and nutrient-poor, well-drained soil.
Tip: Light pruning after flowering and fertilization results in abundant reflowering.
