Info: Very productive, late bolting variety with rapid development and large leaf mass. Tender, light green, brown-tinged leaves that are curly and wavy. Easy to grow, development time 4 - 5 weeks. For fresh, butter-tender salads, served with herb, yogurt or mustard sauce.
Care: Sow 0.5 cm deep (diffuse light promotes germination), thinly distributed in rows 30 cm apart. Press down seeds, cover with soil and keep moist. Thin out to 5 - 10 cm if necessary. Prefers sunny to semi-shady locations and all good, humus-rich garden soils. Keep evenly moist. Suitable for early planting.
Tip: Temperatures above 18°C can inhibit germination. Always harvest fresh for preparation, as the tender leaves quickly lose quality.
Sowing: From March indoors, April - August outdoors
Germination: 6 - 12 days at 10 - 16°C
Harvest: April - October, depending on sowing time
