Info: Biennial, robust, densely foliated Quedlinburg cultivar with high yield. Very low susceptibility to leaf spot, smooth, very aromatic tasting leaves that are used fresh and dried; also for freezing. High seasoning power, for dishes and as decoration. Very rich in vitamin C and more aromatic than curly parsley.
Care: Sow 0.5 - 1 cm deep in rows with 30 cm spacing, cover with soil and keep moist. Thin out to 4 - 5 cm spacing if necessary. Prefers sunny to semi-shady locations and deeply loosened, humus-rich garden soil with a fine crumbly surface. Do not keep too moist.
Tip: A marker sowing with radishes makes the rows visible and allows hoeing before emergence.
Sowing: March - August in the open
Germination: 21 - 28 days at 15 - 20 °C
Harvest: May until frost, February - March the following year
