Info: Late, high-yielding variety with long, red conical carrots, reaching up to 6 cm in diameter. Vigorous foliage and evenly colored roots. High content of vitamins and minerals, especially carotene. Suitable for fresh consumption as salad and vegetables, but also usable as fodder beet. Very well storable until March.
Care: Sow thinly, 0.5 - 1 cm deep in rows with 30 cm spacing, cover with soil and keep moist. Thin out strong seedlings with 4 - 5 leaves to a distance of 8 - 10 cm. Prefers a sunny location and humus-rich, deep, stone-free, sandy garden soil. Hoeing and weed control are important.
Tip: A marking sowing with radish makes the rows visible and allows hoeing before emergence.
Sowing: April - June outdoors
Germination: 14 - 21 days at 10 - 20°C
Harvest: October - November
