Threaded Fitting Stainless Steel Angle Screw Connection 90° 1 1/4" IG Type Conical
The angle screw connection is equipped with an internal thread on both sides. The connection sides are inclined at 90° to each other and are screwed together with a union nut. The connection sides can thus be separated from each other. The union nut allows easy processing of the angle screw connection on an existing pipe system, as the threaded sides can be screwed independently of each other and then connected. Hemp or Teflon tape is suitable here. The thread is the common Whitworth pipe thread used in water technology. The external threads are conical.

All stainless steel fittings listed here are permanently corrosion-resistant and can, unlike welded fittings or press fittings, be loosened again. The threads allow a seamless transition to other materials without the need for a transition fitting. The stainless steel screw connections do not require seals, allowing use up to 200 °C without any problems.
Thread Type:
The threads of all pipe screw connections are manufactured according to the common standards ISO 7-1/EN 10226-1 (internal and external threads) as well as ISO 228-1 (union nuts of the screw connections). The external threads are conical/tapered. The internal threads are parallel/cylindrical. All threads are specified in inches as standard. The threads are sealed with a suitable thread sealing material such as PTFE thread sealing tape or thread sealing hemp.

Stainless steel fittings made of AISI 316 stainless steel are listed in the UBA list (UBA = Federal Environment Agency) for drinking water suitable materials in drinking water installation and can therefore be used for drinking water supply.
