Expander Rope 8 mm Black PP Coating
Monofilament core made of natural rubber with anti-UV agents
With this expander rope, tarp, foils, tarpaulin, and nets can be stretched or fastened more easily overall.
By threading the rope through existing grommets, for example, a tarpaulin can be uniformly fixed all around.
Or for trailer nets to be retrofitted with this flexible expander rope.
- Outer sheath made of polypropylene
- High strength
- With anti-UV agents
Pictogram Legend:
The UV resistance indicates the product's ability to resist the attack of sunlight.
Level 1 means low UV resistance. The product shows signs of aging after 1 to 3 seasons outdoors. Level 5 means very high UV resistance. Expected lifespan of several years, depending on sunlight exposure. Excessive extension of the recommended stretch reduces the product's sun resistance. Our products are tested under accelerated aging according to ASTM standards.
The abrasion resistance is the product's resistance to wear.
Level 1 has low abrasion resistance. Only a few cycles can damage the product's surface.
Level 5 means very high abrasion resistance. Over 4000 cycles are possible before initial damage occurs.
ISO 12947-2 wear and abrasion testing device.
Ease of use: A product is easy to use when it offers comfort, flexibility,
smooth handling, and clean cut.
Level 1: When the product requires more attention and manipulations.
Level 5: Knots are tight, easy to twist, fold, and cut.
The tensile force is the force required to stretch the rubber.
Level 1: The product is stretched with minimal effort.
Level 5: The highest elasticity modulus in our range -maximum stretch resistance.
The performance results are based on our internal tension testing devices.
The breaking strength is measured at the weakest point of the product.
Level 1: The force required to break is the least.
Level 5: The highest tensile strength.
Based on our internal tension testing devices.
