Info: Medium-early, very high-yielding, predominantly female-flowering variety for outdoor cultivation with bitter-free, dark green, cylindrical fruits with a small seed cavity. Resistant to scab and tolerant to cucumber mosaic virus. Suitable for fresh consumption and canning.
Care: Sow 2 - 3 cm deep, 30 cm apart, 2 - 3 seeds, row spacing 1 m. Press down seeds, cover, and keep moist. Thin out later. Do not transplant well. Prefer a warm, sunny, wind-protected location and loose, humus-rich, well-fertilized soil. No temperatures below 10°C.
Tip: Can be easily pre-grown in pots. Use compost as fertilizer and 'soil heating.' Regularly picking (every 4 - 7 days) increases the yield.
Sowing: Mid-May - June outdoors
Germination: 6 - 14 days at 15 - 25°C
Harvest: July – September
