Info: Annual. A new sunflower variety without pollen (pollen-free). It has a simple, strong stem. Golden-yellow petals create a beautiful contrast to the dark brown center. Very uniform in growth, even under unfavorable weather conditions. Height approx. 175 cm.
Care: Start the culture in a warm place (greenhouse/windowsill), sowing 2 - 3 cm (dark germinator) deep in pots, about 2 - 3 seeds per pot. From mid-May (frost-free), the plants can be moved outdoors, but first acclimate to outdoor temperatures (harden off). From mid-May, sow directly outdoors in place. Keep temperatures and moisture consistent. Use sowing soil! Plant spacing 50x50 cm.
Usage: "Eversun" is particularly suitable for cutting for vases, as well as planting along fences and flower beds.
Gardener's tip: Nutrient-rich, well-drained soil and adequate moisture promote good development. Additional fertilization is beneficial. Sunflowers' longevity is greatly increased if the stems are placed in boiling water for about 1 minute. Then place immediately in the vase.
