Info: Annual. A mix of climbing cucumbers, wild types, and their hybrids. In the mix, all decorative cucumbers have an individual appearance and can be dried excellently for autumn decoration. Growth height approx. 150 cm.
Care: Pre-cultivation takes place in a warm environment (greenhouse/windowsill), sowing 2 - 3 seeds per pot about 2 cm deep. From the end of May (frost-free), they can be planted outdoors in a very sheltered spot. The best cultivation is in a greenhouse/polytunnel. Prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soils. Plant spacing at least 1x1 m.
Use: These decorative cucumbers are not suitable for consumption. As decorations, decorative cucumbers are a real eye-catcher.
Gardener's Tip: The spines of the decorative cucumbers do not harden, so there is no risk of injury. A trellis allows cultivation even in small areas. Offer young plants a climbing aid of approx. 8 - 10 cm in good time.
