Info: The variety name says it all! "Kobold" is a small-growing, sweet pepper, making it particularly sturdy and ideally suited for cultivating in pots on the balcony and terrace. Naturally also suitable for outdoor cultivation or vegetable beds. As if that weren't enough, the "Kobold" variety also produces a multitude (up to 40 fruits) of small (50 - 70 g), aromatic block fruits that ripen from green to red. Highly resistant to the tobacco mosaic virus race 0, growth height about 50 cm.

Care: Sow indoors/greenhouse from February to April. Sow in pots or seed trays, about 0.5 - 1 cm deep, and lightly cover with sifted soil. Keep consistently moist. Use sterile seed compost or containers! Pre-soaking the seeds (about 24 hours) in lukewarm water or chamomile tea promotes germination. Stretch clear plastic wrap over the seed containers and remove condensation. Support the plant if fruit set is too high.

Usage: Ideal snacking vegetable. Pepper goes excellently with cheese as raw food and cut into strips or cubes in all kinds of salads.

Gardener's tip: As a gift to bring to a BBQ party, this potted pepper is a welcome and useful "flower greeting"!

Sowing: Pre-cultivation: February - April

Germination: 8 - 14 days at 20 - 22°C

Location: Sunny

Harvest: August - October
