Info: Annual, thick-stemmed fodder kale with high frost tolerance down to -10°C. Suitable for feeding small animals. Provides protein-rich, highly digestible green fodder.
Care: Sow 0.5 - 1 cm deep in rows with 50 cm spacing, press down, cover, and keep moist. Thin out or transplant vigorous seedlings to 30 x 50 cm. Prefers sunny to partially shaded locations and nutrient-rich, moist garden soils. Frequently loosen soil and keep evenly moist. Do not apply fresh manure.
Tip: Feed fresh after harvest whenever possible. Well suited as a succeeding crop on harvested beds of early potatoes, peas, beans, or lettuce.
