  • Granulation: 0.3-1.2 mm
  • Finely granulated natural lime
  • For mild pH value increase, soil loosening, and promotion of crumb structure
This lime can be easily distributed due to its granulation.

This carbonate lime:
  • Neutralizes acids in the soil, which would take over through degradation processes and leaching without liming.
  • Activates soil life and eliminates soil fatigue.
  • Ensures a plant-friendly and soil-appropriate pH value and a good soil structure. This promotes the activity of microorganisms and thus high soil fertility.
  • Loosens heavy soils, making cultivation easier. With the right lime content in the soil, the other nutrients also come into full effect because the circulation of water, air, and heat is optimal.
Moss spreads particularly well in lawns with lime deficiency. With regular liming, moss is naturally displaced.

Calcium deficiency can lead to typical damage symptoms such as blossom end rot in tomatoes, bitter pit in apples, or black heart in celery - these undesirable appearances do not occur with adequate lime supply.

Application / Dosage:

If possible, determine the pH value of your soil before liming. This can be done quite easily with the pH test strips available in specialist shops.
For most soils, a pH value between 6 and 7 is optimal.

Maintenance liming:
Annual balancing of the constant natural soil acidification.

Soil type                 Application amount (kg/100 m² or g/m²)
Light, sand                4-6 / 40-60
Medium, loam              10-15 / 100-150
Heavy, clay               20-25 / 200-250

In a very acidic soil with a pH value, for example, below 5, a health liming with significantly increased lime amounts may be necessary. However, no more than 700 g/m² should be applied at once, as the availability of some plant nutrients could then be restricted. For extremely acidic soils, therefore, apply a partial amount in one year, test the pH value again the following year, and then apply a partial amount if necessary.
  • Compost: approx. 10 kg/m³ compost
  • Liming peat: approx. 5 kg/m³ peat

Application period: January - December
