Mantelsaat® Multi Active - great advantage over normal bare seed
Mantelsaat® is seed that is coated with vital and germ-promoting substances. This coating consists of various components, such as macro and micronutrients.
Multi Active: With this new coating, the ingredients of Mantelsaat® are supplemented with a starter fertilizer for the first few weeks, a fungus inhibitor, and a germ accelerator.

Quedlinburger Premium Family Lawn is the perfect lawn for heavily used areas, such as those found in home gardens or playgrounds. The lawn is well-suited for heavy use and impresses with its enormous resilience. The Family Lawn is characterized by its dark green color and fine appearance.
Due to its high regenerative capacity, it recovers quickly, even with intensive use, and closes small gaps on its own.
Sowing recommendation
Sowing date: The best times for sowing are spring or autumn, with a minimum temperature of 10° C.
Soil preparation:
- Thoroughly dig or till the soil.
- Use a rake to make the soil as smooth and even as possible.
- Let the soil rest for 2 days, roll if necessary, apply starter fertilizer, and work it in.
Sowing:
- Spread the seed evenly. We recommend a commercial spreader (sowing rate approx. 20 g/m²), or hand sowing in two passes (longitudinal & transverse).
- Lightly rake in the seed (no deeper than 5 mm) and lightly roll the area.
- Water the area immediately after sowing, preferably with a very fine lawn sprinkler.
Care instructions:
- In the first 3-4 weeks after sowing, the fresh seedlings need a lot of moisture. Therefore, the area should always be kept moist.
- The first cut of your new lawn should be at a height of about 8 cm. Do not cut it shorter than about 5 cm; additional cuts as needed, cutting height about 3-6 cm.
- The lawn plants withdraw nutrients from the soil, which can cause the lawn to become patchy and weeds can spread. Appropriate fertilization is recommended.
